NEW to BVCC!

Sunday, April 7 we welcomed two new
families to the BVCC fellowship on April 7, 2013.

Tyler & Missy Wooldridge
Briley & Blaine

New to Bella Vista, the Wooldridge Family moved here just a couple months ago from Joplin, MO.  They always loved this part of the four-state area and when a job opportunity arose for Tyler as an Insurance Broker with Arthur J. Gallagher they were excited to move this way.  Missy is enjoying being a stay-at-home mom with their two children, but previously managed a Lasik and cataract surgery business, and specialized in marketing.

The family enjoys their time together, especially outside activities such as hiking and riding bikes.  They are also looking forward to attending more Downtown Bentonville events this summer.  Briley, 4, attends Noah's Ark preschool and is looking forward to starting Kindergarten at Cooper Elementary in the fall.  She also likes to read, ride her bike and swim.  Their son, Blaine, is now seven months.

Tyler and Missy were active at College Heights Christian Church in Joplin, where they were part of a small group, helped in the nursery ministry and volunteered on the welcome team.  They are both very servant-minded.  Once a month, they enjoyed helping their small group clean the church.  The Woodridge’s also participated in CHCC’s annual all-church serving day… going door to door helping folks with raking, mowing and all kinds of outside odd jobs.  Missy said “it was a great way to serve the Lord and build our church”.

Their family was introduced to BVCC by Greg Morrell, a friend of Pastor Ron’s, who filled in as a guest speaker here last year. Tyler & Missy do look forward in getting more connected at BVCC, as they are serving today with our Children’s Ministry and hope to find other ways to use their gifts and talents in the near future.

Larry & Alta Pruitt
Larry and Alta are life-long residents of Arkansas and are very happy that their five children and their families remain in this area. They also have 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The Pruitt’s have owned Bella Vista Heating and Air since 1979.  Larry was a Vocational Education Teacher for 7 years at Gravette High School and he worked for Cooper Communities as their “heating and air guy” as they were expanding in BV from 1979-1992.  Alta enjoyed being an area trainer for 12 years at all 7-11 convenient stores before she retired.

They have realized through the years that some of their passions in life have changed due to health issues, as they used to canoe, travel, go camping and take their family to their cabin regularly. Today they still enjoying riding ATV’s when they can.

Alta said they both “feel like they fit like a glove” at BVCC.  From the first Sunday they were invited by BVCC members, Steve and Nancy Menhennett, they have felt right at home.  Larry and Alta were also happy the first week to see one of their grown daughter’s best friends from high school attending here. The Pruitt’s are excited about serving, when they can, to help further the Lord’s work at BVCC.
