New to the BVCC Staff Team

We are excited to announce that Bob Walker has been named Church Administrator for Bella Vista Christian. Many know Bob and his wife, Joy, as they have been part of the church family since December 2011.

  

Bob and Joy are enjoying the beauty of Bella Vista, moving here in August of 2011 from Tulsa. They have lived in many states during their marriage, as Bob is retired from the government in upper management positions. These included duties in Washington, D.C. and Anchorage, Alaska.

Joy was blessed to work in the home helping raise their five children: a son and daughter, who reside in Washington, D.C.; a daughter in Alaska; a son in Tulsa; and their daughter and family in Bentonville.  They also have five grandchildren. Joy has volunteered many hours at the Cancer Treatment Center of America and at the Green Country Hospital, both located in Tulsa.  She is currently a volunteer with the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale and Bentonville.

Bob and Joy were members of the Cedar Ridge Christian Church in Tulsa before coming to Bella Vista. They are both "pleasure pilots" and have enjoyed flying planes and helicopters in the past. They also like to play golf, fish and travel.  Cross country skiing was another favorite sport of the Walker’s while residing in Alaska.
