Meet the Mullikin Family

Shanely & Tawny Mullikin
Kynric, Payton

  Shanely, originally from Iowa, moved to Arkansas to complete his High School and college years. Tawny grew up in Washington State, but joined YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and attended the Arkansas based camp for a year doing discipleship and field training before transitioning to Ecclesia College. She received an Associates Degree in Biblical Ministries.  Shanely is currently employed as a Mechanical Designer with the Engineering Firm, Harrison-French.  Tawny enjoys being a stay-home-mom to the boys, Payton and Kynric.  The Mullikin’s are looking forward to the arrival of their baby in September.

The family is very outdoors oriented.  Payton, 11, loves to play competitive league soccer, but is also a very good artist and loves academics. Kynric is three-and-a-half and is always busy with new activities. Shanely started his own competitive cycling team and the family supports him by attending the many weekend races with other team members’ families. The Mullikin’s also enjoy high tech GPS treasure hunting called Geocaching.

Both Shanely and Tawny are very missions minded and love to “give back” to others.  Shanely is a musician who writes music, plays guitar and other instruments, and has been a part of church worship teams in the past.  Tawny attended cosmetology school and now enjoys sharing her hair styling ministry with other moms.

The Mullikin’s placed their membership with BVCC on 2-17-13. They became acquainted with the church while driving by to take their children to Kingsdale Park. Tawny assists in our Children's Ministry and has served “behind the scenes” when there was a need.
